Cooldown is a term used to describe a game mechanic (that is commonly used in the majority of games) in Crash Force.


The term cooldown is defined as a period of wait time before an ability or ammo pickup station can be used after a prior ability or ammo pickup. Sometimes referred to by the pseudo-acronym "CD".

For example:

  • The time it takes to recharge after an ability has been cast or used. You will not be allowed to cast another that specific ability for the duration of the cooldown period.
